My name is Nick Carver and I'm a professional photographer based in Orange County, CA.

Photography has been my life since I was 13. I want to learn everything I can about photography and I want to never stop improving. I love my job career life and I will never retire.

None of my pictures are HDR, combined images or dodged and burned. I spend enough time in front of the computer as it is so I try not to compound that by spending hours tweaking a single image. I do minimal color and levels adjustments, but rarely anything beyond that. Photoshop can help create some amazing images, but I guess it's just my Velvia upbringing and old-fashioned mentality that compels me to make the image in-camera, not in-computer.
