I am a retired Short Term/Marine Insurance Underwriter and Claims Superintendant. I love good humour and enjoying life! How do I see this enjoyment of life? By the following: Firstly, I am thankful for God's Love and Grace and secondly, to apply the maxim of "Every man is the author of his own happiness". I have also had the privilege thanks to my dear wife, of seeing much of the world. Countries I have travelled to are: Australia, (4 times) United Kingdom, (twice) France, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Far East, Emirates (Dubai) & USA (New York & New Jersey). I regret not having taken photography seriously then! However, I am now a member of The Cape Town Photography Society (the oldest Camera Club in the Southern Hemisphere!) I love flickr and my flickr-friends and appreciate their comments on my work. I am also very proud of my achievement in having had some of my work reach EXPLORE! (66 so far)
None of my photographs are HDR or blended images, they are taken from just one capture.
Should anyone be interested in using my photographs in a non-commercial venture i.e. a blog, I would feel more than honoured. However, please advise me through Flickrmail or by e-mail and include a link back to my flickr profile!!! If anyone desires to favourite (fave) my photographs, or make me a contact, he or she must have a photostream themselves. If not, I will regrettably block such persons.
