My great aunt was a potter in Nelson. She looked after me when I was really young; it must have been the gravity of nostalgia for my time in her studio that pushed me through the door of the Carlton Arts Center nearly 2 years ago. Love ceramics. I studied design, textiles, and was always arty but practical. Clay is perfect, so much to explore...
I document everything that comes out of the kiln here on flikr, and have just opened a shop on etsy too.

However - I am currently based in London where crafting has been put on hold! its horrifying but true. Itching to get back in the mud in about 6 months... fingers crossed.
