Sonya Nimri lives and works in a little house in Venice, California, filled with friends, family, and blooming orchids. She loves turning overlooked items into sought-after treasures, drinking French tea, pruning her dahlias, and playing Connect Four with her husband on their porch. She dislikes plastic flatware, overhead lighting, and green bell peppers (eww!). She is the author of Just for the Frill of It and Beadalicious, has contributed to the LA Times, Craft Magazine, and has appeared on HGTV and the Today show.
