b1963, november. Just got my second SLR camera, my first dSLR. I have a 35mm pentax k1000 and now a k200d. I bought just the body and moved the 50mm manual focus lens from the old one. I also purchased a 70-300mm macro/zoom lens, and have a set of 48mm closeup filters to play with. Never got enough experience with my old film camera due to the cost of film. Have also got a handful of cheap digicams, point and shoot, one medium quality, several low end cheapos, as well as the camera on my cell phone. I like portraits of animals and plants the most, so expect those kinds of images to dominate. I have ordered a polarizing filter and better head for my tripod, and am seriously considering the purchase of a lensbaby lens.
I've just gotten a pile of books from the library and am studying hard to figure out how to use all this power I've gotten in my new camera.
