I am a 57 year old woman that was diagnosed with breast cancer 6 years ago. I love my husband, children, and my numerous nieces and nephews and their friends. They are so great. I am a nurse working in corrections. This job is terrific. I adore dealing with people who have taken a wrong turn on the path of life. It is truly rewarding to teach them to realize that they must set positive goals to get back on a track to success. If only one takes the steps, I do a happy jig.
My favorite person on Flicker is a gal named Jenna. She authors almost every shot she takes with a humorous story. She is about the most talented person I know. Quaint, zesty and full of life. And I am so proud of her.You can see her fabulous pictures named Littlepink, or Jennathephotog. Oh my goodness. What adventures she encounters. She is also a most fabulous wedding photographer.
I do love my kids to death. Smother them in fact. Philip the carpenter, that is going to Ireland to learn how to restore historic building. Melissa, the English major that learned to carve a good living in IT. Meghan, the lost one, an Artist in her own right, that is never bothered with anything, however can cry with silent tears if something disturbs her.
But I do love Jenna as well. She is like one of my kids, misunderstood, but someone that walks to her own beat of a drum. Truly admirable.
That is all about me. A somewhat fatty nurse. Caring so much for the underdog....which really gets my adrenaline going.
