  "I first came across Allan's photostream by accident. It was the Union Jack that intrigued me. Moving through his photos is a journey..partly nostalgic because I am from Liverpool..but mainly because it is so colourful and rich in content.
  Every photograph is telling me a story and mainly because the way in which each shot is presented has been done with some considerable care and attention to detail.
