I am no professional photographer but I am a painter and a backpacker so I like my photos to look like something I'd want to paint and to portray places that evoke certain emotions in me. I like colours that show the essence of a place and tones that convey the atmosphere. I believe there are cloudy days which can be happier than sunny days, and ugly city backstreets which can be more beautiful than a beach sunset. It all depends where you are, what you are feeling, and what the landscape trying to communicate.
