Welcome to my world of strictly amateur photos...I hope you enjoy them and check back often!

Most all shots are exactly as taken with no post-processing. Occasionally I will do some minor cropping or other "fix-ups" in PSE7 but I do try to make a notation if I have done so. If I do happen to use any special effects which is rare I will make a notation of those too.

I've just upgraded September 2010 to the Canon PowerShot SX30 IS. I will still keep my Canon S5 IS as my back-up camera along with various filters - neutral density and close-ups from +1 to +10. I also have a Canon A720 IS as a pocket camera to always have available when an unexpected shot presents itself. Since getting the A720 I find I tend to use it for most of my macro shots. The smaller size allows me to get into tighter places for a closer shot!

I really love digital photography. It gives you the opportunity to experiment and not have the expense of film...just delete if it didn't work and hey sometimes it's just downright fun to get something really abstract and unusual.
