Yola carries master’s degree in Psychology field. She is educated in Fine Arts, has over 12 years of experience in TV and radio and has impressive achievements in music and philanthropy.
She sung for the Pope John Paul II.
In New York studied R&B and jazz with Dee Jackson/Patti LaBelle and jazz professor of Manhattan School of Music Nancy Marano.
She has performed and recorded with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra and legendary trumpeter, multi-Grammy winner Wynton Marsalis.

She’s recorded and produced with (Norah Jones’s) engineer Pete DeBoar and Grammy winner (Kid Rock’s producer-engineer) Bob Ebeling.
She sang the title song for an Asian/American film “Destiny,” by Louis Zalu.
Successfully debuted with her album “Another Girl” on Top Shelf Rec.

Her single “I wanna be loved by you” quickly climbed the radio charts all over the country. During it’s first week out the beautiful ballad got to #1 place as “Most Added”. Shortly after it was chosen as Best New Music by prestigious FMQB music magazine. Yola got to the TOP 20 and TOP 40 on AC radio music charts in the US, as well as Top 20 and top 40 on FMQB Magazine and New Music Weekly Magazine.
She appeared on the WNYC-TV show “NYC Profiles” with host Mickey Burns between such great music guests as: Roberta Flack, Gloria Gaynor, and Chuck Mangione. Yola was a part of the “Women in Rock” series in LA, on well known radio KRLA. And also was a guest on WRKL, WLIM Long Island, XM Radio in NYC, WKCR Jazz NYC, WBGO National Jazz Station, WOR NYC Joey Reynolds Show, WPLJ Radio, Lite FM and NY1 TV, Polonia TV, Polmusic TV.

CPR Story: Yola Nash made headlines by saving a performer’s life, while hosting an event by performing CPR on stage in front of thousands onlookers.
In recognition for this action, received a special “Commendation of Heroic Action” from the Governor of the State of New Jersey, Richard J. Codey. Was also congratulated by such honorable organizations as the American Heart Association and President Bill Clinton’s Foundation.
Inspired by that event formed the nonprofit organization CPR Awareness.org, to promote CPR. Established a CPR Awareness Day of NYC with support of mayor of NYC M. Blommberg. And has been producing series of jazz concerts “Feel the Beat” to promote CPR – life saving measure. In recognition received a special Proclamation from Mayor of NYC Michael Bloomberg.
Actively involved in charities and serves as a Speaker on CPR.
