Chivalry and Arcady; frivolity and poetry; rusticity and jollity.
And lust and laughter (and what comes after)!
And sweets and lollies, and fanciful follies.
And make-believe and making (courtly/ardent/violent) Love.
And enchanted woods where bluebells grow and all the lovely creatures go.
And dozing in meadows with bedfellows.
And grand adventures for grander treasures (played indoors if there's stormy weather).
And seeking. And hiding. And riding –
Off to a faraway land with a gallant highway-gentleman.
