Strictly an amateur at present having only purchased my first real dSLR this year (Canon 30D, which I love). Have always been interested in photography but haven't been a mad keen shooter until the last couple of years as my sporting career starts to wind down I have been able to put more emphasis on this hobby.

Only recently got into this flika community thing. What a fantastic place although also very humbling. There are so many fabulous photographers out there. Makes me feel very ordinary, but I'm learning and hopefully given a little time I can start shooting some real quality photos.

Well A little news. I now live in Brisbane, Australia. New job, new country to explore, basically a new life. This is why I've been a bit quiet recently as shifting countries is a complicated business. But it's all done now so I should be back shooting soon and with a new country to explore I'm really looking forward to taking some great new shots.
