i’m a passionate photography rookie .
i found this new language, now closest to my soul,
three years ago; actually when stumbling on flickr .

i feel assembled by a lifelong love for images though,
a life of thinking in images,
~ & now it is all about trying to capture
what is there, in my mind’s eye,
beyond the obvious;
wanting to get it on film, on paper, incarnated .

with all due respect i turn down invites for groups
with sparkling, moving & / or mandatory awards
& comment codes. i truly appreciate feedback
( & the love & appreciation i feel from you guys
has, at times been why i’ve stayed here, ~ ) but this i
feel takes away from the work, ~ & creates a more
stressful way of commenting ..

.. & if you have no profile, no photos of your own
& just add favourite after favourite without a word,
~ i’m sorry, but i’ll block you ( bad experience ) .

p.s the other day i started a blog on a bit of a whim ..
so far just a smallish thing but it has proven just as addictive as flickr .
it’s in swedish ( & don’t even think about hitting the google translate button either * ) .
perhaps, if it catches on, i’ll make translations .
a day already contain too few hours though, that’s a problem.



* i just tried it. that thing has a mind of its own.

i did not write i cut myself. i wrote i visit the hairdresser { far too infrequently }.
neither did i mean my hair has given up. i wrote my hairdresser has.
{ although come to think of it that could be a correct translation after all },
~ & i did not write i am made of translucent raw tissue. i wrote i have thin skin.

aah .. where does it all end?
