The glow of late summer and early autumn, passion in the air, an intensity of colors that you didn't think existed, for the sun and for love...



August, butterflysummer, in a sancuary for preserving the old agricultural landscape...


Käringtand, Common Bird's-foot-trefoil; the Swedish name refers to similarity to teeth and the name means "the tooth of one's love". Yellow suns in Midsummertime!


Early summer, growing power, the days are getting longer and longer and when I pass this barn I am not far from "home", in your warm embrace.


Every love carries a memory of hate;
Every moment of happiness carries a shadow of sorrow;
Every security is founded on unsafeness:
But we still live. Yes, we still live"



There was something special about the light and the colours of the water of this lake already from far away. By the shore the sun was warming despite of that the wind blew gently from the north.


In the last hour of daylight on the last day of October, when the sun shone beautiful through the leaves of the birchs, leaves that still withstanded the law of gravitation and the winds efforts to undress them.

Bara av en slump som så mycket annat i livet hamnade jag på flickr. Och det hela växte till en passion, en besatthet som kanske många av er känner igen.

När jag var yngre fotograferade jag mycket. Fotografering blev till ett stort intresse, ett sätt att uttrycka mig.
Någonstans på vägen falnade intresset och på över tio år tog jag inte en enda bild.

2005 återupptog jag fotograferandet på grund av att jag behövde en kamera för att sälja på internet auktioner. Och så vaknade intresset igen. Nu använder jag kameran för att skriva en slags dagboksanteckningar utan ord, för att minnas men också för att skapa, uttrycka mig. Tidigare skrev jag mycket, poesi, dagbok, tankar men nu använder jag kameran som ett instrument att skapa stämningar, hitta uttryck för min kreativitet. Jag tycker om att leka med ord, hitta finurliga titlar och någon gång kanske/förhoppningsvis orden blir så lysande att de kompletterar bilden.

Mina intressen är natur, naturupplevelser,skidåkning, cykling, kulturhistoria, retro design, musik, trädgård, bad och massor av andra saker som väcker mitt intresse och nyfikenhet.

På flickr hittar jag inspiration bland alla vackra och konstnärliga bilder. Det finns så mycket kvar att lära, kulturellt, geografiskt, konstnärligt, tekniskt och formmässigt. Jag strävar inte efter perfektion, fotograferar mest för att det är kul.

Just by chance like so many other things in life, I ended up at/in/on flickr. And it grew into a passion, an obsession that perhaps many of you will recognize: addicted to flickr.

When I was younger I had a great interest in photography. It was a way to express myself. Somewhere along the "road" the interest falned and in over 10 years, I did not take one single picture.

I resumed my photography in 2005 because I needed a camera to sell on Internet auctions, my first digital one. And then the interest did arouse again. I use the camera to write a sort of diary notes without words, to remember but also to express my creativity. Earlier, I wrote a lot: poetry, diary, thoughts, but now I use the camera as an instrument to create moods/atmospheres, picture the beauty and serenity of nature, which is my highest source of inspiration. I like to play with words, find clever titles and sometimes perhaps/hopefully the words are so brilliant that they will complete the picture.

My interests are nature, outdoor adventures, skiing, cycling, cultural history, retro design, music, gardening, swimming, to travel literally and imaginary and of course a lot of other things that arouse my interest and curiosity.

Here I can find inspiration among all the beautiful and artistic images. There are so many things left to learn every day, culturally, geographically, humanely, artistically, technically etc etc etc. I do not strive for perfection, mostly shooting for fun.
