“All men dream; but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act out otheir dreams with open eyes, to make it possible.”
T.E.Lawrence

In the last few years I have dedicated the majority of my time to researching graffiti and public art. In particular the ways in which it has become more reflective of the world around it. The continual evolution and integration of street art into our everyday lives extended our understanding of our immediate environment – questioning the hegemonic powers which we subconsciously adhere to.

More recently I have been inspired by the ‘Situationists’. Mostly attracted to the ways in which art awakens us from our dreamlike meandering through modern urban life; enabling us to manifest our own personality within a predominantly capitalist system. My website in construction is the beginning of my new ambition to integrate art into my local community, to demonstrate my interests, explore new styles, and allow others the chance to develop skills usually restricted by deeply embedded everyday practices. Or perhaps more simply, to promote any willing person to breathe life into the world we live through artistic means.
