A documentary about using music and art to overcome physical limitations "See What I'm Saying" sits in with nine blind and visually-impaired teenagers who journey to New Orleans to study with master musician Henry Butler at his "Creative Music and Jazz" camp. The hour-long film begins during the camp's inaugural 2003 session and then follows up with former campers and Henry as they use humor, heart, and lessons from the camp to navigate life in 2007. Broadcast doc to be paired with national outreach campaign to raise awareness about its core issues: arts education, disability rights and Katrina relief, specifically preservation of New Orleans musical heritage.
