I identify myself mostly as a former English teacher who often doodled on the backs of hall passes. Once I got in trouble for it. An old bat (fellow-teacher) told me, "We don't defile what the school district prints for us." I laugh at the memory. My children, my father, my sister, my niece are all gifted visual artists. I write short stories, novels, etc. and have been lucky enough to get printed a couple of times. I love the outdoors and live close to nature. One of my main pleasures in life is to comment on other people's art, to get into that art, to absorb it, and then let the artist know what I think of it. I love flickr, love roaming the world for exciting art....it's like visiting an exciting art museum every day.
