I am Pim from the netherlands or Holland or how you call it these days.(I am 22 years old) It's actually not Holland when you think of it. There are only North and South Holland. I live in Noord-Brabant. Some people don't even know what these above are(this really happend). Then I say like a lot of other dutch people; "You know Amsterdam." And they Think Amsterdam is a land. God Dang Stupid people.

BTW; I am a semi anti-photoshopper. Maby there is some old picture I have editted. It's all about, taking the picture properly these days without photoshop. So, if you think I used photoshop, think again...

I always loved to make photo's on holydays with the simple camera of my parents. But because I had him to much I wanted to buy a camera Myself. My parents liked that very much. I had no idea what camera I had to buy. A canon or Nikon. I choose the canon 400D with 18-55mm and 55-200mm lens because it wasn't that expensive. A year later I realized I had made the wrong choice because I could not buy old lenses that fitted on the 400D for not much money. Nikon can. But then I bought my 100mm macro lens and I loved it although it costs a lot of money. I think my first lens, the 18-55 lens is not very good lens. But then it's an art to make good pictures with it. It is the photographer not the lens. I sometimes see people with big camera's that can't take good pictures. I like to make all kinds of photo's, landscapes, protraits, animals, architecture and more. My goal is to make picture that stunn people. And make them think very long about how I made the picture. I also want to combine a lot of stuff in a picture or take some abstract objects and set them in the nature or something. I just want to make the most original photo's. And I want to get regonized with my pics. Now I life in The Netherlands buth I always had a dream to life in the USA. I have been there 2 times. I have been in 5 states. As a kid from 10 years old i already knew I wanted to move to new york city.


update 16-03-2010:

Now have a new lens. The Canon EF 17-40/4.0 L USM. I always used the 18-55mm canon kitlens. And I think I made some good pictures with it. Although it's one of the worst lenses from Canon. I think I deserve a new zoomlens after using a kitlens for 2,5 years. I have also 3 new filters I wanted for a long time. Circular, uv and ND8.

At this moment I didn't use the filters and lens buth over a few weeks I go to New York to make some great pictures. Much better then last time when I was there whit a simple digital stupid camera. :)
