Born to travel.....have spent a good portion of my life doing just that, travelling, for pleasure and for my husband's work. Born in the USA, live in Italy, lived in London and Curaçao in the Caribbean, where I left a good part of my heart and soul. This past March I was blessed with a trip, at last, to South Africa where I may have found the place of my dreams.

Miles to go before I sleep....

Finding Flickr has opened up a whole new world and has let my creative juices go haywire. I am enjoying taking photographs and sharing them with people who understand. I have learnt so much from observing everyone's photos and have refined my thoughts and images. Whatever would I have done without Flickr!!!

Every day is a new adventure. I am fascinated at watching my work progress, not only in quality (thank goodness) but also in content. I am finding out what I WANT to take pictures of and what I WANT them to look like....the latter is not always possible but at least I know what I like now and want to persue. I'm a sucker for a good shadow!
