I can onlly imagine that I have gypsy blood coursing through my veins, Born in the USA, I went to Europe on vacation and basically returned after 40 years. I primarily lived in Italy. I had a little more than 3 years in London and 10 years in Curaçao in the Caribbean.

From a young age I was interested in two things: travel and photography. My father had a darkroom downstairs and I was fascinated. I would listen to the amazing tales of my parents' childhood and dreamed of exotic adventures for myself. They came true.

Discovering Flickr has opened up a whole new world and has let my creative juices go haywire. I am enjoying taking photographs and sharing them with people who understand. I have learnt so much from observing everyone's photos and have refined my thoughts and images.

Every day is a new adventure. I am fascinated at watching my work progress, not only in quality (thank goodness) but also in content. I am finding out what I WANT to take pictures of and what I WANT them to look like....the latter is not always possible but at least I know what I like now and want to persue.
