"Sometimes I am so confused - I don't know whether I have found a rope or lost my horse"

Am a 53 yo dwm from the DFW area in Texas. Just looking to make a few friends and share my adventures with others that have the same interests. I did the white water rafting trip down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon a few years ago and would do it again in a heartbeat. I did the 6 day, 5 night trip and it was one of the most thrilling things I've ever done.

I've also traveled to Australia 3 times now, the first time in 1987, then in 2000 and again during Nov of 2008. I have family there so my room and board comes at a great price, plus the last 2 times I flew on my 'frequent flyer miles' so the price was right there also. While there, I've scuba dived the Great Barrier Reef, climbed Uluru (Ayers Rock), been to Kakadu Ntl Park in the Northern Territory, and this last time to the Atherton Tablelands in northern Queensland.

My favorite things to do are visit state and Ntl parks and see nature at it's finest. Hope to be able to visit as many of them as I can in the future. Camping and staying in the outdoors are much better than visiting cities and staying in motel rooms in my opinion.
