Photo nut for many years. Of course, I resisted the change to digital after so many years shooting film from 35mm to 4X5. I only wish I had done it sooner. Now I shoot more than I ever have. No costs to worry about. I shoot mostly nature stuff but whatever moves me. My other passion is restoring vintage motorcycles. Please forgive me if I do not make you a reciprocal contact. I really try and visit my contacts' photostreams as best I can and I can barely manage as it is. I rarely leave a comment for those who will not allow their photographs to be viewed at larger sizes. I find it next to impossible to critically evaluate a photograph at the standard small size shown. If that means folks in China are downloading my photographs and making money printing calendars and bar napkins, so be it. If I find out about it it just might motivate me to do the same. Who knows? I so much more enjoy thoughtful comments rather than glitzy group icons with just a ; "I saw your glorious pic in...." comment attached. I nearly always visit the photostream of a person who leaves a thoughtful comment. If you read all the way to here you are wasting time. Go out and shoot some pictures!
Addendum: After over one year here on Flickr I am finding myself spending way more time here than I should. The quality of photographs seen and the friendships I have made are truly humbling. I really try and be a loyal and supportive contact. I find that I really must trim back on my contacts. Some have moved on to other interests. So I have cut back a bit. I certainly hope I have not offended anyone and am more than willing to readjust to add contacts I have lost. Does any of this make any sense? I hope so. All the best and keep clicking!
