I have been a resident of Brentwood for over 20 years. I have raised my family here.

I have worked with the families and children of Brentwood since 1987 and I continue to take classes and keep up with the latest in child development and education as a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the National Association of Family Child Care (NAFCC), the Professional Development Program, and First Five.

I have received the Award of Distinction in Early Care and Education from First Five, the Child Care Council, and The Learning Institute.

I worked very hard with the Early Learning Demonstration Project and First Five to achieve national accreditation which I received in August of 2005. I also received a Certificate of Achievement in recognition of "achieving and sustaining program quality in the field of early care and education" from First Five, the Child Care Council and The Learning Institute.

I am committed to getting children ready to enter kindergarten with a love for school and learning.
