At EKO-LAB we believe in the importance of community, design, and sustainability as part of our everyday lives. Our philosophy is that each person makes an impact with their purchases, and that clothes should be made fabulously from sustainable materials and in a humanitarian environment. Since 2000 we have been working along side each other at the former magical LES fashion/art haven Art Fiend Foundation, and most currently at its successor Ekovaruhuset an organic and fair-made fashion boutique. We became friends by virtue of what it took to hold a store together. Our unique collaborative are changing sustainable fashion with unparalleled concepts, intricate hand details, eccentric charm but most importantly by teamwork. Our works are pinned to stand the test of uneconomical fast fashion trends and last for generations to enjoy.

Our passion drives us to take our goal one step further. In the past we have worked with local suppliers to help them make the switch to becoming organic. Now we aim to step it up with our soon to launch NY fair-made facility where hand craft arts such as crochet, low-impact/ natural dying, and screen printing will be practiced and taught in our local community.
