Ersatz would work well enough as a single generalized descriptive adjective. Quixotic would serve well as a trailer. Hopefully kind if nothing else true. Please forgive my occasional babbling narratives/titles, they seemed clever enough when I wrote them but seldom survive scrutiny on a revisit..
