Not had a camera since I was a small child, but earlier this year aquired a camera (Nikon Coolpix 5100) for my trip to Japan and have found myself falling in love with photography and the challenges it presents.
Having had positive feedback form strangers and friends alike - I've decided to buy the Nikon D300 and various lenses to take with me whilst I go travelling and for when I move out to Tokyo next year.
Getting an SLR is going to be a challenge, but offer me the freedom I want and hopefully the oppurtunity to try out the many ideas I've had!
