I started as a amateur photographer in may 2007. I bought my first camera, a Canon EOS 400D and started photographing landscapes and nature.

I read a lot about techniques, compo, etc. and I learned to look at things different than I did before. Besides nature I started photographing animals too.

And then I read about "Urban Exploration" and saw beautiful pics on the net. The thrill and exitement made me curious and I had to do it myself.

I like the excitement of entering places that’s been empty for a while, somethimes even several years. Places “where time has stopped” and decay has set in. Broken glass, rust, moss growing on concrete, broken tiles on the ground, dry rot of wood are examples of grateful subjects for photos.

With my pictures I try to capture the special atmosphere of the location. The photos tell the story of what happened there when the building was still in use.

I know there is a whole lot to learn. So feel free to place any comments or tips and trics regarding my photos.
