In the Viewfinder's photostream  

I've been at this photography thing a long time (since the 1950s) but I'm a bit of a crank (aka curmudgeon) and somewhat parochial.

If you think film is the be-all and end-all I'll be the first to tell you that you're mistaken. Not that I don't like a good film shot but right now digital has lot more going for it than old fashioned film.

It's really the print that I'm after. Prints are way better than looking at the image on a screen. Depth of a good photographic print just cannot be beat. The proof is in the printing.

There are a number of reasons you don't see what gear I'm using...

1. I do not have technology religion - the only bad camera is the one you do not use.

2. One of the ways that I can prove that these photos are mine is the data.

3. Is it the tool or the artist that matters?

4. There are no secrets - everything really is revealed in the photo.


It's the image that matters.
