November 2010: It's time to update my profile :))
After almost 3 years, I've become a flickr nut!
Oh boy, i'm hooked badly.
But then I've met lots of nice people and good friends with the same hobby and maybe more important: the same love for our furry children
A lot has happened in the 2 years on flickr. I noticed that i make more and more pictures of my beloved dogs. Maggie has passed and So did Thomas not too long ago. Now it's Juliette and Isaac, the new pup. And I'm getting older :(
With the "Thomas photo series" I started flickr and he became a hit ever since.
Then an abrupt vacuum: Thomas got cancer and I had to send him off across the` rainbow.
I was ready to quit flickr, honestly. There was no reason for me to be here, so I thought.
I needed to re-invent myself and heal after such a wound.
Then a good friend saw this coming and insisted on giving me a puppy. And here we go again!
It's too fast and too soon but I could not resist Isaacs begging blue eyes and him instantly bonding to me.
And besides that, How can you turn down a gift like that?

I don't promise any thing. The dogs are different, the time is different so don't go nuts and expect another Thomas story.

Truthfully, being on flickr is a great stimulant to make more and better photos all the time. I get lots of inspiration of my fellow flickr friends and for that matter just about any flickrrr.
All this photography is a great kickback from my work and it feeds back to that work in a sense too.
I've been looking for a while to improve my tools and re-think my photography. I was eyeing the new Nikon D7k and finally I couldn't resist it any more. So far, i'm learning how this new toy works and I love it.

See after all these years of making pictures with cheap camera's, I bought myself a little present: a Nikon D80 and now what i'm doing?: making photo's all the time and posting them on Flickr. After two weeks on, I realise, i'm hooked badly.

Then: what's the harm in it except i'm not working.
I love this place. people on flickr have all one thing in common: they love to make and look at photo's. There's a slight hint of competition here and I like that. It makes me want to make better pictures all the time.
Thank you all for having the same hobby. we'll have lots of fun together.
