andygame's photostream

Born in England, that´s where I lived until my late 20´s, when I backpacked out to Australia. Didn´t plan to stay, but as things turned out I spent 12 years there, the last 2 travelling around in a campervan. I backpacked again, this time to Germany, again not planning to stay, but that was in 1998 and I´m still here!

I see myself as an outsider here in Germany, a foreign tourist with open eyes, and I love to cycle around on my bicycle, photographing and painting what I see. During my time in Germany I´ve concentrated mainly on painting, and you can see some of those on my photostream. But a couple of years ago, after numerous exhibitions and commissioned work I found myself turning towards photography again (painting and photography have alternated throughout my life). I picked up some 1970´s Canon gear and am having great fun with that too. At the moment I´m experimenting with tabletop photography...I have to watch the pennies, so it´s all done on the cheap!
