"Where to begin?
Allan Ellerby’s complex, post-apocalypse images assault the senses. What I see are urban sounds piercing, sliding, and engulfing the near and far space. Stunning a ginger-haired man in “Is God Dead?”. Deafening glare freezes a passerby in “Up Turned Face”. Then one finds peace amid the clamor in “Blue Marble Sunset”.
Ellerby grinds at the edges of photomontage with his electronically cut neo-collages. Are we hearing the big bang?"22nd September, 2009
