I'm 64, been a Nikon shooter 23 yrs, outside of photography, my interests are U.S. history, mainly the Civil war and battle of Gettysburg, and Conferderate general James Longstreet.
I live in Indiana, served in U.S. Air Force, from 1964-1968, in west Germany and Oregon.
Married 41 yrs one son, a Navy vet.
I'm not a pro just enjoy the art, and seeing great photos.
My main camera is Nikon D700, I do a lot of zoos, and shoot a D200, with 80 200 2.8
Still have two film cameras a F100, FE2, my walk around camera is a D90 and Tamron 17 50 2.8 {first} version.
I enjoy shooting zoos about 60% of my shooting time, I live close to our zoo in Evansville, In. and "cheap" entertainment, and I can't afford to travel around the world to shoot wildlife.
I do shoot volunteer photos, for our local zoo, and they publish and use in newspaper adds and brosures, just have fun.
