Lacking Focus' photostream  

Well, in order that you might better understand my photography, there's not much point in keeping any secrets ...

I recently lost my fiancee to a very unexpected death during the night of my 24th birthday. Her final birthday gift to me was a new lens for my new camera, and nothing could have been more appropriate.

Photography is a new hobby for me that has allowed me a chance to reflect and to express some of what I'm dealing with right now. So, a lot of my work is very meaningful for me.

At the same time, I value my sense of humor and also love photography just for the sheer beauty and technical values that can be achieved. So, you will see a great variety in my photostream, and as I develop as a photographer, I hope you will also see a general improvement, both technically and artistically.

This is my photostream. I do it for myself and for Lesley, but I hope you like it, too.

And to all my contacts, thank you for your kind comments on my pictures. I know I've been terrible about keeping up with your streams lately. Between school and work, it's enough just to get my own images uploaded.
