Thomas karanikas' photostream

Thomas Karanikas was born in Leverkusen (Germany) in 1980. Since his early childhood however he moved with his family to Konitsa, a village located in northern Epirus (Greece). Being raised in an area surrounded by pristine natural landscapes, he got his preliminary inspirations from their seasonal patterns and their wild beauty which is well preserved there till nowadays.

He got acquainted with the art of photography during his youth and since 2000 and then it became his profession. Main objects of his personal portfolio refer to landscape photography, travelling, architecture and humanistic photography as well.

According to his work experience, during the last decade he has been working as photography assistant in studios and outdoor advertisement campaigns, touristic promotions concerned local authorities and the National Greek Touristic organization as well. Recently, he participated in a series of four (4) documentaries as a Production Manager and photographer while in the meantime he entered the section of ‘motion photography’.
