Dear Friends & Visitors

First of all please let me thank you all for your ongoing wonderful feedback and acknowledgement you give to me!

From time to time people ask me what photography means to me. Well, as long as I can remember photography was a part of my life. It saved many wonderful memories but since I became a Flickr member in 2006 I think things slightly changed. I started to learn about image formation, lighting, exposure time, aperture, etc. and also about different styles in photography. But the the greatest influence comes from the wonderful partnership and photographic cooperation I have together with my wife.

Just looking on your photos, discussing the feedback, etc. also helped me a lot to understand photography in a different way.

What style of photo am I into? I like to see the expression of a certain subject in contrast to a certain space. For me a photo (whatever the content is) should be like a well performed piece of music. Authentic & balanced in colors / contrast / aspect / etc. If someone's leaving the balance there should be a visible reason for it.
