I am a point and shoot photographer (term used loosely). Have just realized that my camera has modes other than auto for general picture taking and am anxious to try them.
Since being introduced to Flickr I have been a peeping Tammy because I loooove looking at and studying the varied photos.Through this I have learned to see the world differenty and to see photo opportunities of the unusual.
I finally decided (was persuaded) to take the plunge and sign in but feel overwhelmed to be part of such a talented group of photographers.
I am permanently sight impaired, a definite handicap. As I only need one eye to look into the viewfinder I take photos almost daily and most of my pics are current, that is, shot since I joined flickr.
Any comment or suggestions are welcome as I have a LOT to learn
I am in the process of doing a bit of housekeeping on flickr - that is deleting some groups. If you invite me to a group I have not previously joined and I decline - don't take it personally. as you see I have far too many groups now.
I am also deleting some contacts that have been noticeably absent from my comment boxes. Sorry.
If you take me as a contact and have not commented on any of the photos in my photostream I will not reciprocate.
