I'm relatively new to photography, I only got my first 'real' camera near the end of summer 2008. I do really enjoy learning and experimenting, so I'm hoping my abilities and photos only get better with time!
I currently shoot with a Canon Digital Rebel XT, and have the 18-55 kit lens and a 50mm 1.8. Next on the purchase list: tripod, flash, and telephoto zoom. I also own a Sony Cybershot DSC-W220B point-and-shoot for those times when I really don't want to pull out the SLR. However, Flickr is for my artistic shots, so most of the point-and-shoot photos can be found on my Picasa page.
Other than photography, I'm a student at the University of Calgary, taking a BA in Political Science.
