I've been taking snapshots for years, but now I'm slowly learning how to take pictures.

I have no aspirations to make this anything other than a hobby, but I'd like to view the world a bit differently, even when I don't have a camera.

My first digital camera was a Sony DSC-S30 which I took with me on a trip to Australia. I soon upgraded to a used DSC-50 bought on e-bay, and I officially had the bug.

My first digital SLR is a Nikon D40 which I have yet to use to it's full potential.
