A second career seminary student ( now a Vicar) with a passion for photography, two wheelers,and the struggle of people past to make a living anywhere they dug coal, fired furnaces, baked clay, or moved products by steam or thick oily internal combustion. Or, hammered out products in factories long gone.

I like trains and people who shoot trains and people who know way too much about trains or spend way too much time reading or discussing trains, or steam engines, or brick factories, or old or new bikes, or old cars, or other things out of the ordinary.

I also enjoy tracking down (unintentional pun) old rail features- bridges, tunnels, yards, etc. I am not much for science fiction but if there is a time machine I want to use it for awhile. But then if there is such a thing as a time machine in the future, would we not have already been visited by people from the future?

Flickr makes me feel better about myself because it reminds me that I am not the only person who shoots trains and rides bikes and collects brick and walks tracks and does other stuff the rest of the world finds boring and/or eccentric.

I wish about now I could come up with a cool quote. Lacking that, I wish you peace- the greek sense- the biblical sense- as in Peace.
