My name is Melissa, I'm 27 and I live with my husband and our little 'zoo' in Southeastern PA. We have 2 cats, 1 dog, and too many fish to count. :) I have a Nikon D700 and love it! My favorite lenses are the 70-200mm and the 105mm VR Micro. I have other stuff, but most of it stays in the bag compared to those two!

"Now some could say I may be biased in my opinion of Melissa's photos, and to a point they may be right.
But few have seen her skills progress over the years as I have. From her point and shoot days to when she 'lived' in the darkroom while in college shooting with a used Kalimar 5000 with a 50mm Minolta lens, her limited equipment never impaired her artistic vision or boundless passion.
When I see photos I know she took while I was standing right beside her, I still struggle to place in my minds eye how I could have ever missed the nuance of the moment she was able to capture in that frame.
Even if I wasn't her 'pack mule' I'd still find her artistic talent amazing.
