I have just hit middle age and I am not liking it one bit, the thought that it's all down hill from here scares the living daylights out of me. The knowledge that I arrived 44 years ago on a cold winters day in Bridgwater, Somerset, makes me feel SOOOOOOOOOOO OLD!! Being Bi-Polar doesn't help one little bit!

I enjoy photography, but could only afford a small Samsung Digital camera. I find that I waste more images than I save. I try to experiment with the equipment I have and sometimes I suprise myself with a batch of fairly passable snaps. I tend to use my old faithful Praktica TL3 SLR for close ups at distance. It provides better quality photographs than my Samsung. (Update) Just bought the Nikon D3100, now all I have to do is learn what everything does!!!!

I also don't subscribe to the idea, that to submit images to a group requires that I must leave comments for others, so please don't ask me if your group needs me to comment.

I also administer a number of groups and I have a policy that if joins my groups they must have images to share. Any one joining who has the following maybe banned:

1 A buddyicon (square grey box with face), but no personal image.
2 No images to share.
3 A box either full or empty of favourites.
4 No recognised membership to Flickr.

Only genuine photographers may apply!!
