I've always drawn or painted since I can remember. I usually work with pencil, oil, watercolor or acrylic. I started selling my photographs as well some years back. Since moving to Downsville, Wisconsin about 8 years ago, my wife and I have had The Downsville Coffee House Restaurant and Studio.

My studio was originally a warehouse which was built in about 1856. The restaurant was originally the Knapp Stout Company Store and was built in 1873.

I help out in the restaurant as well as doing the photography and the other artwork. Here is a small sampling of my artwork.

I send out my film for developing and scan the developed film with a V750 Epson scanner. I have my paintings scanned in Minneapolis on a huge Cruse scanner [not mine]. Recently I have just shot them with a Canon 5d Mark II and that does a very nice job. I print my work with my digital printers. I enjoy shooting both digital and film cameras.

I don't know any language other than English. If you comment in another language, I may block you. If you have restricted groups in your profile I may block you. I have a SAFE, moderated photostream and I intend to keep it that way.

If you have a question, feel free to ask. I have an opinion about most things and am likely to share it. I am not politically correct most of the time and don't try to be.
