  "Laurence-she photographs that unattainable space between childhood and adulthood so carefully, documenting, counting the hours and minutes and seconds. waiting at the end of endless hallways and the light spots burned on your eyelids when you fall asleep. chalk marks left over on burnt finger-tips-she will get it all, every detail....but hold your breath----- it's not what it looks like. There is something under all of those beds, something lingering under flickering closed thin eyelids, something waiting where all of those clean lines converge. 1-2-3-4.....its a game of hide-and-seek and you just lost."
