I've grew up in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, went to university in the St. Louis area, and now live in the Pittsburgh area. Unless otherwise noted, all of the photos in my Photostream were taken with a Samsung L200 point-and-shoot camera.

I've been to 37 of the 50 U.S. states and have lived in 3 of those:

(Note: Utah is the only state in which I've only flown into an airport. Montana and New Hampshire are states in which I've only "clipped" the edge. I'm unsure as to whether I've actually set foot in the border regions of Idaho before, but I'm not going to say yes. As for Florida, I've only been to Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Orlando there.)

The only states that I have not been within 100 miles of (as the crow flies) are Minnesota and Hawaii. (The closest I've been to Minnesota is Hoffman Estates, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago 185 miles from Minnesota's southeasternmost point. The closest I've been (on land) to any point in Hawaii is Santa Barbara, California -- 2,382 miles away.)

The 4 of 13 states I haven't been to that are over the 80-mile threshold but under the 100-mile threshold are Oregon, North Dakota, Vermont, and South Carolina (meaning that these are the most distant of the states I haven't been to aside from Minnesota and Hawaii).
