I wish I could say that I've always been interested in photography, but I've not. Not until about a year ago, when I started to notice, through the wonderful work of friends, that there is more to photography than just pointing a camera, and snapping a photograph. So, recently I purchased a Canon S5IS and am now just learning how to use it. Through reading, and help of friends I hope to expand my knowledge, and be able to capture the world around us, in more than just the grainy crooked photos that I have been taking for years.

Strictly as a hobby, and not looking to win awards, or sell any work. So, with new camera in hand, and my son sometimes following by my side, with my older Kodak, off we trudge into the world with open eyes, a smile, anticipation and excitement looking for the next shot.
