Born in Ayrshire, Scotland but lived most of my life in England with a little stint in Croatia and a brief sojourn to Doha. I love all types of photography, pretty much anything that catches my eye but have a fondness for wildlife and nature. I love travelling and would do it year round if I could - husband and daughter would probably complain though! The best places so far have been the stunning Canadian Rockies, Africa, and the Galápagos Islands.

Six of my images reached the semi-finals in the Natural History Museum’s and BBC Wildlife Magazine’s Shell Wildlife Photographer of the Year (WPOTY) Awards 2008 and one reached the semis of the 2009 competition.

On February 22, 2009 I was thrilled to gain my Licentiateship distinction with the Royal Photographic Society.

Photography is a very personal thing and not everyone sees what you see. It also teaches you patience – good photos come to those who wait!
