I really need to give a shout out to someone. I think I've mentioned her before, but now I need to mention her with a little more detail and edification. That someone is Gibson Claire McGuire Regester. She and I are complete strangers, and I've hardly ever commented on her photos, but she happens to be the reason I'm on flickr. At a sleepover that happened ageeeees ago, a mutual friend showed me her 365 project, on this website I had never heard of before, called flickr, of course. :) And something about her photos really got to me, and so when I got home, I went on facebook and stalked my friend until I found Gibson, and I stalked her facebook until I found the link to her photostream. And then I spent about a week going through her 365 project, the same way a person might read a book. I was on flickr, looking at her photostream during breakfast, in little bursts throughout the day, and at night before I went to sleep. Her photos were so full of life and color, and she put so much heart into every one of 365's, completely inspiring me. So eventually I, too, joined the flickr world and am now on a 365 journey of my own, all because of a stranger named Gibson. So thank you Gibson, for being an amazing photographer and for sticking to your project. It impacted me in a huge way."
