I live in a small coastal locality known as Greenhill. Greenhill is approximately 11 kilometres east of Ilbilbie on the Bruce Hwy. The nearest major city is Mackay about 85 kilometres, by road, to the north. I currently work, in Sarina, as a serviceman for the Mackay Regional Council. I served in the RAAF for 20 years (1970-1990) as an aircraft engine technician. With some urging and advice from my son David de Groot I joined Flickr and took up photography as a hobby.
