staring at a lightbulb... the flickr'r formerly known as Piper at the Gates... seeing as how I stare at light bulbs, hanging on the ceiling, far more often than mucking about on my bagpipes.

Previously well traveled, kilted, kramer-haired anglophile with random interests and a goofy sense of humor. n.e.ohio launched, reaching glorious 13 year orbit, now museumed back where I started.

"piper at the gates" is not a pink floyd reference, though I dig the floyd. It's more of my state of mind, and being. Neither inside or outside..

Hmmm who am I? I thrive between wtf and lmao actually... I am a textbook sagittarius infected with annoying and ever present wanderlust, I over research just about everything and I dream a bit too often. This can be frustrating but I think it is not entirely a bad thing.

I tend to be upbeat, enthusiastic and I am very passionate and intense about things I believe in. I love it when I get stoked about anything and everything. I love waking up in the morning, feeling the sunshine on my skin and thinking just how totally rad the simplest things can be. That is when I breathe deep.

I drink vast amounts of tea and I mix cereals. Sometimes when I feel dirty I drink coffee. Coffee just seems dirtier than tea. I love blue skies and puffy clouds, I love green things, Mossy trees and the way the woods smell after it rains, especially when listening to early morning raindrops on a tent, or on the roof of a vehicle, camper, etc.

I adore hp, lotr, scifi, the Guild, etc... For music I enjoy all kinds of indie /brit pop /surf /lounge music and the cleverness that is wizard wrock! \m/ I love driving and will take a road trip at a moments notice. as life permits of course. Being near water puts me at peace.

I am fascinated by and drawn to artsy creative people, if only to bask in their awesomeness and shower them with ramblings of praise. Flickr helps me with that fix.

I lurve and thank my flickrfriends for sharing glimpses into their lives and inspiring me to betterness. flickr proves time and time again that not all people suck. : P
