I'm an average family man that enjoys watching my kids grow up into beautiful (both inside and out) young ladies. I love to coach them in soccer and participate in as many aspects of their lives as I can. They are great kids and always make me proud.

I enjoy spending my vacation time at the beach, but I can't just lay around in the sun. I need to be doing something, so I act like a kid and make sand sculptures. This is my "release" I guess. My scupltures have evolved over the years from a very rough dolphin to the highly detailed mermaid that you can see in my sand sculpture set. I'm really enjoy the reactions I get from others as they see my work for the first time. It's nice to be able to put a smile on so many faces. I started doing this in 1998 I believe, and that may seem like a long time but I only get to do it 1-2 weeks each year. (so actually I've been doing this for about 2 months). Sometimes I get a little tired of answering the same questions 20 times a day (are you an artist?, How do you do that?) but I still enjoy seeing their reactions. It's strange to think that pictures of my sand sculptures are in so many photo albums all over the country (and world).

As far as my photography goes, I'd like to be better than I am, but I continue to work on getting better and learning more. I just don't have the time to devote to it to really improve. I use a Sony alpha-100 that works fine for what I do. It's not the fastest camera but I can live with it.
